But in this abundance, I&#8217;ve struggled to find freshly baked pizza bases. You will find the frozen ones, but I&#8217;m not a fan. In the bakery section, what came closest was the flat, Egyptian pita bread. My only worry was if it would stand another round of baking or end up like a crisp tortilla. But how would I know without trying?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pita bread (pack of 4)<\/li>\n<li>Tandoori or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prasadgupte.com\/blog\/preparing-shredded-chicken-recipe\/\" target=\"_blank\">Shredded chicken<\/a> (or leftover tikkas or other meat)<\/li>\n<li>Mozzarella cheese<\/li>\n<li>Tomato ketchup<\/li>\n<li>Sliced onions, capsicum &amp; tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>Oregaon, Salt &amp; Pepper <em>to taste<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Butter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/scontent.cdninstagram.com\/hphotos-xfa1\/t51.2885-15\/s640x640\/sh0.08\/e35\/11887274_174978862834941_337193287_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply butter to both sides of the pita bread.<!--more--> <em>Mayonnaise (plain or garlic) if you can deal with it.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Spread tomato ketchup on the base. You can spice it up with some mustard sauce or Tobasco.<\/li>\n<li>Top it up with veggies, meat and Mozarella<\/li>\n<li>Butter up a pan on medium flame and place the pizza. Cover with a lid, and let it cook for 3-5 mins until the cheese melts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tip<\/strong>: On your first pizza, check every 2 mins to see that base does not burn<\/li>\n<li>Voila!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dubai is all about options &amp; variety.
