And truly so, it has made every Indian\u00a0proud of the country&#8217;s\u00a0vision. While the program\u00a0is primarily meant to transform\u00a0India into a manufacturing-driven economy, I do not see why it cannot be extended to everything we make in India &#8211; whether for export or domestic use.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All through my travels in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prasadgupte.com\/blog\/tag\/australia\/\" target=\"_blank\">Australia<\/a>, I couldn&#8217;t ignore the promotion of products made in\u00a0Australia, by Australian owned businesses &#8211; right down to bread and water.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1505px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/prasadgupte.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/04\/made-in-australia.png\" alt=\"Promotion of products made in Australia\" width=\"1505\" height=\"916\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Promotion of products made in Australia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Population is a double-edged sword. While population\u00a0shrivels available\u00a0resources, it itself is an important resource in industrialization. And\u00a0India can use this abundant resource to its\u00a0advantage, to\u00a0make #MakeInIndia a reality. For this, I think it is key<!--more--> to take this\u00a0campaign to the masses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Like the ISI logo, can we include a MadeInIndia logo on consumer products fully manufactured\u00a0(not packed) on Indian soil? Not only will it promote indigenous products, but it will also amplify brand recall and connect. Plus, we have a bunch of world-famous products that we already make in India.
