Matthew Ch.26:41.<small><\/small><\/small><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The title of this post is an epithet for my blogging dilemma. I have been wanting to blog for the last couple of years &#8211; first as part of my website, then separately &#8211; but for some or the other reason didn&#8217;t take-off! But a few things prevent it from being pushed any further down my task list. I have always had a lot of things in my mind: some for the posterity of the human race and others to take away productive time. Not that I have been great at penning, just that I have always been clear in my thoughts. All I needed was some place to write; and what better than a blog! A few months back, even my boss encouraged me to do some reading, exploration and write about it. What could be a better reason with appraisals right around the corner!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arundhati Purandare has been central to this kick-ass WordPress installation (as she is to several other things including me) She helped me realize the power in WordPress, did a quick PoC for the &#8216;cantankerous&#8217; me and got my blog running in no time. Regretfully though, I won&#8217;t be taking any help from her great authorship. I had to relocate twice due to server restrictions, and finally set-up WP &amp; the plugins myself in less than 2 hours. My post &#8216;Setting up my Press&#8217; speaks about all that<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I&#8217;m going to use this as a medium to discuss IT: technology, products &amp; some theory; hence the name iTelescope [notice IT]. I will also share solutions to common issues that boggle me, code snippets for some great functions and possibly some tutorials. On &amp; off I will also write about my experiences in life, people around me &amp; other noticeable objects (Everything is built on top of Object in Java &amp; .Net; so object could mean anything) I will eventually extend this installation as my personal website: add pages, link to my pictures &amp; videos and create some forms so that you can get in touch with me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A couple of disclaimers before we close:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>I&#8217;m politically disinclined: to me there are those who do good to this world, and others who don&#8217;t (With great power comes great responsibility &#8211; Uncle Ben)<\/li>\n<li>I don&#8217;t believe in races and abhor communal tussles (so as I have quoted from the Bible today, I may from the Quran tomorrow &#8211; and that makes me no less a Hindu!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bottom-line: These are things I won&#8217;t be talking about!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Oh wait! How can we close without some IT dope? When the second half of the quote (at the top) was being translated back and forth from Russian, it returned &#8216;The vodka is good, but the meat is rotten&#8217; &#8211; enough to show that AI still has a long way to go!
